Madrid has a terrible reputation in summer: desert city and almost post-apocalyptic city. But those of us who like the city know that it is a very rare fame, especially when the cultural and summer festival of Los Veranos de la Villa begins, with at least 5 artistic events per week divided into 35 stages of different and very varied districts of Madrid.
Theater and dance, poetry and circus, gastronomy, music and urban sport will fill Madrid’s summer evenings with the breeze of the sunset in the spaces of the city: parks, plazas, swimming pools, cemeteries, auditoriums and sports centers. And most important of all: most of these activities are open access.
from June 28 to September 1, activates the cultural agenda with five appointments per week, including concerts, theater and dance and outdoor cinema. And (almost) all are free!
